Job summary

The Fountains of Cartersville is seeking Certified Medication Technicians to provide medication administration and resident care oversight in a modern Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This full-time role covers 2nd shift (3p-11p) and 3rd shift (11p-7a) with every-other weekend and holiday rotations.

Must complete a State Approved Medication Aide course and hold a CNA or Personal Care Assistant certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Must hold Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification.
• Effective written and verbal communication in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Promotes residents' rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and continuing education as required by state regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' information (HIPAA).
• Documentation is accurate and descriptive.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor promptly.
