Job summary

Brentwood Health Center in the United States is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate team. The CMA will provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with medication administration, and support residents with daily living activities.

The role requires CNA training and both CNA and Medication Aide certifications, with at least 1 year of healthcare experience or 2 years as a medication aide.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program.
• Active CNA certification in good standing.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or 2 years as a medication aide.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Assist in administering medication to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
