Job summary

Eden Heights of Olean is seeking a Medication Technician to assist with administering medications to residents under physician supervision and to help with activities of daily living. This role supports a compassionate care team within Premier Senior Living’s community.

The position is part of a larger program focused on education, advancement, and internal promotion, with a mission to provide excellent care to seniors across NY, OH, and PA.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.
• Meet health requirements including TB and all required immunizations.
• Pass background check and random drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medications with the use of company chosen software to document resident electronic records.
• Assist residents with all activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Observe and record resident's condition.
• Provide help with resident transferring in and out of bed.
• Clean rooms and change linens.
• Deliver messages, greet and direct visitors, answer phones.
• Support PSL service goals to all our Residents.
• Have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Position Summary

Medication Technicians assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Wellness Director. Duties also include providing assistance with activities of daily living to our residents.
