Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Holtsville, NY is hiring a Certified Medication Tech to join our compassionate Resident Care team on a casual, per diem basis. The role covers Sundays and Mondays 7am–3pm, on-site at our premier senior living community.

You will support residents with ADLs, assist with medications, escort to meals and activities, and help maintain safety and wellbeing in a hospitality‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read in English.
• Experience with geriatric population and assisting with ADLs is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and provide personal care.
• Patient, calm, and professional when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well‑being
• Helping out as needed in the Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing
• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness
