Job summary

The Fountains, operated by Hampton Management, is hiring Certified Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to join a compassionate, resident-focused team at The Fountains. The Med Tech administers medications, assists residents with daily activities, and ensures safety and quality of care in line with community policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident observations.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and potential side effects.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain medication carts, supplies, and records in compliance with regulations.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
