Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Edmond, OK seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to coordinate medication administration and assist residents with activities of daily living. Weekend CMA shifts may be required.

The CMA must hold the required state CMA certification. You will work with the health care team to ensure safe, compassionate care and accurate documentation of tasks and shift reports, while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Requires Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification per state regulations.
• Ability to administer medications for assigned residents.
• Commitment to resident care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with daily resident care: personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals
• Documenting shift reports and resident records
• Communicating needs and concerns to Health Care Director
• Managing tasks within a scheduled shift and adhering to policies and safety guidelines

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
