Qualifications

• Certified in the state of practice.
• Nurse Aide must appear on State Registry in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with approved techniques and notes time and amount on resident's chart.
• Deliver routine daily medications as prescribed by physician to residents; pass resident medications in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the MAR.
• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records drug, dosage, and time of administration; reports unadministered drugs.
