Job summary

Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer daily medications to long-term care residents in a full-time role. You will monitor residents, report changes, and document medication administration according to MAR and state regulations.

The position requires state certification, completion of Nurse Aide Training, and a current BLS/CPR certification. Experience in SNF settings is preferred; full and part-time hours available, with

Qualifications

• Certified in the state of practice required.
• Completed Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program; Name must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations and notes time on MAR.
• Delivers routine daily medications as prescribed by physician.
• Observes residents for changes and reports to nursing supervisor.
• Documents tasks and resident condition accurately and promptly.
• Assists with meals, personal hygiene, and daily living activities as needed.
• Communicates with Med Techs/Med Aides to ensure consistent resident care.
• Maintains medication inventory and assists with stock.
