Job summary

Westchester Village is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMA/CMT) to join our senior living community in Lenexa, KS. The CMA will pass medications under the Charge Nurse and deliver hands-on resident care per physician orders and facility policy.

The role includes monitoring residents, updating service plans, assisting with meals and activities, and responding to emergencies while maintaining infection control and a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations to obtain CNA and CMA certifications.
• Ability to pass medications under direct supervision and follow physician orders.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and resident safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications and provide treatments under Charge Nurse supervision.
• Monitor residents and report changes in health status promptly to Charge Nurse.
• Review Tenant Service Plans and Tenant Service Notes to tailor care.
• Assist residents with medications and related treatments as allowed by regulation.
• Respond to emergencies and Health System policies in a timely manner.
• Assist in dining and in maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Support participation in social and recreational activities per resident plans.
