Job summary

Bear Mountain Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our resident-centered team. You will accurately prepare, administer, and document medications while verifying physician orders and resident identity to ensure safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Aide Certification for NC.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a team and support company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered.
• Verify physician orders and resident identity before administration.
• Document refusals and medication administration details.
• Assist with medication charting as directed by nursing leadership.
• Maintain adequate stock and report needs to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
