Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Medication Aide to administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and policy. The role supports personal care and daily living activities within the community, collaborating with nursing and other staff to maintain residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medication Aide or Assistant or Qualified Medication Administration Person per state regulations.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment preferred.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Attends in-service training and maintains CE hours if required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, and meals.
• Collaborate with the nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents, and families to support resident well-being.
