Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Colorado is hiring a Certified Medication Aide to administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy. The role supports the nursing team and contributes to residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

The candidate should have current Medication Aide certification, CPR/First Aid, and be able to work weekends or holidays on a rotating basis. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Current Medication Aide certification per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification current.
• Maintains continuing education hours if required for certification.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays on rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications to residents per state regulations and Primrose policy.
• Assist residents with personal care tasks, dressing, and daily activities as assigned.
• Collaborate with nursing and other staff to support resident well-being.
