Job summary

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and procedures governing medication administration and documentation.
• Accurately prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications as ordered by physicians.
• Verify medications for new residents and ensure proper identification.
• Document and report medication errors or adverse reactions to supervisors.
• Assist in QA programs and committees to improve medication safety and accuracy.
• Report resident complaints or issues to the Director of Nursing Services.
