Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least six months experience in an assisted living community preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship or evidence of a valid Alien Work Permit.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state.
• Certified as Registered Medication Aide in this state.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of all information pertaining to clients, families and employees
• Completes necessary care documentation (written and/or electronic) timely and accurately
• Helps residents with all personal care functions as needed
• Dispenses medications under the direction of a licensed nurse and supervises medications per the care plan
