Episcopal Retirement Services in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to deliver resident care with compassion and professionalism. The role emphasizes adherence to medication policies, accurate documentation, and collaboration with nursing teams in a supportive culture.

The successful candidate will hold an active CMA license in Ohio, be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally, and demonstrate strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required or equivalent
• Is a STNA that is Ohio State tested
• Has an active CMA license
• Possesses a current, unencumbered, active CMA certificate to practice in Ohio
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position
• Will work with ill, elderly residents and be able to evacuate in emergencies

Responsabilités

• Administers medications according to policies and standards of care
• Follows storage procedures for medications and routes of administration
• Documents medication administration immediately after giving it
• Reports medication errors and non-compliance to the Household Nurse on duty
• Performs Resident Assistant duties as scheduled
• Upholds ERS core values and ways of working
