Job summary

Town East Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Mesquite, TX is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join a compassionate care team. You will follow written and verbal instructions to administer prescribed and non-prescribed medications to residents and coordinate with nurses to support daily activities and patient modifications.

Applicants must hold an active CNA certification and a valid Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions to provide timely prescription and non-prescription medications to residents.
• Accurately record dosages and report changes in medical system (PCC).
• Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and modifications.
• Gather samples for urinalysis as appropriate.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
