Job summary

Bedford Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly Certified Medication Aide (CMA/CMT) to join our five-star facility in Bedford. The CMA will administer medications under the supervision of the charge nurse and support resident care with compassion and accuracy.

Requirements include current Medication Aide certification, effective English communication, and prior patient care experience preferred. We offer benefits for full-time staff and a supportive team focused on quality care.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to the Charge Nurse.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all meetings, trainings and in-services as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Certified Medication Aide (CMA/CMT) is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current certification for Medication Aide.
