Qualificações

• Holds a current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience with medication administration procedures.
• Clear communication and patient, disciplined, professional demeanor.
• Accurate documentation of medication administration.

Responsabilidades

• Administer Medications: Dispense prescribed PO, topical, and rectal medications per physician’s orders and company policy.
• Monitor and report adverse medication reactions or changes in resident status.
• Document all medication administration in compliance with policies.
• Maintain control of the medication cart and ensure a safe, hazard-free environment.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of resident information.
• Follow infection control procedures during medication administration.
• Immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.
