Qualifications

• Texas Medication Aide certification required.
• Experience in medication administration procedures.
• Clear communication and professionalism.
• Attention to detail with accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: dispense prescribed medications as ordered and per policy.
• Monitor and Report: observe for adverse reactions and changes in resident status.
• Document Accurately: record all medication administration in compliant records.
• Ensure Safety: maintain control of medication cart and a hazard-free environment.
• Protect Privacy: safeguard confidentiality of resident information.
• Adhere to Infection Control: follow procedures during medication administration.
• Report Errors: immediately notify Charge Nurse of any medication errors.
