The Arboretum of Winnie in Texas is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support resident care with precision and compassion. This role administers medications, documents accurately, and helps maintain a safe and respectful environment.

You will follow physician orders, monitor for adverse effects, protect resident privacy, and participate in infection control. Texas CMA certification required; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Holds a current Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Experience and competence in medication administration procedures.
• Communicates clearly and demonstrates patience, discipline, and professionalism.
• Pays close attention to detail and ensures accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Administer prescribed PO, topical, and rectal medications per orders and policy.
• Monitor for adverse medication reactions or changes in resident status and report.
• Document all medication administration in accordance with policies.
• Maintain control of the medication cart and ensure a safe environment.
• Safeguard confidentiality of resident information.
• Follow infection control procedures during medication administration.
• Immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.
