Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide certification required in Texas.
• Experience in medication administration procedures.
• Clear communication and professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications (PO, topical, rectal) per orders and policy.
• Monitor and report adverse reactions or changes in resident status.
• Document medication administration accurately in system and records.
• Maintain secure medication cart and safe environment; ensure infection control practices.
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Report medication errors to Charge Nurse immediately.
