Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our assisted living team. In this role, you will provide high-quality personal care and medication administration support to residents, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and accurately administer prescribed medications in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols.
  • Provide daily personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Monitor residents for changes in health or behavior and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
  • Assist residents with meals, including serving, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration and nutrition.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of care provided and medications administered.
  • Support residents' independence while promoting a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and interactions to enhance their quality of life.
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a 40-hour Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of Nebraska.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to work with older adults.
  • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and organized.
