Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our assisted living team. You will provide high-quality personal care and medication support to residents, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately administer prescribed medications per regulations and protocols.
- Provide daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Monitor residents for health or behavioral changes and report concerns promptly.
- Assist with meals, including serving, feeding, and ensuring hydration and nutrition.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and medications.
- Support residents' independence in a safe, clean environment.
- Engage residents in activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a 40-hour Medication Aide (CMA) in Nebraska.
- Effective team communication skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a desire to work with older adults.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized.
