Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a licensed Medication Aide with state-approved training and exam.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral and topical medications as ordered by the physician.
• Document medication administration accurately and promptly.
• Report and investigate medication errors and adverse events.
• Maintain proper labeling, storage, and documentation of medications.
• Follow facility policies and participate in QA programs and committees.
