Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is an assisted living/memory care campus in Wadsworth, OH, seeking a Certified Medication Aide. Shifts run 7am–11am and 7pm–11pm with a generous shift differential and new pay rates.

A welcoming environment with low resident-to-staff ratios awaits you. You will administer medications as directed, assist with daily activities, monitor residents, and communicate with nurses. Must hold OH CMA certification and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years full experience as a Resident Assistant in Assisted Living/Memory Care.
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio preferred.
• Current Medication Aide Certification approved by Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide for personal care needs of residents as directed by nurse.
• Administer certain types of medication as delegated by the LPN/RN.
• Monitor resident conditions and report any changes.
• Document and report condition changes and responses to medications.
