Job summary

Grand Living in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to enhance resident experience through daily nursing care and medication administration per personalized care plans. You will assist with ADLs and deliver medications in a compassionate, professional manner under the guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of senior-care experience (preferred), a valid Certified Medication Aide license, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years experience with seniors preferred.
• Certified Medication Aide license required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to provide ADL assistance and communicate with residents and staff.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, eating, grooming, mobility and communication.
• Prepare and administer medications according to health care provider instructions and Grand Living policy.
• Work under the general guidance of the Director of Health and Wellness per community standards and procedures.
• Provide friendly, timely, and professional care to residents to enhance satisfaction.
