As the CMA at Noble Health Care Center in Noble, OK, you will administer medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following physician orders and facility policies. Join a dedicated, multidisciplinary team providing quality care and resident support.

Qualifications

• State certification as a Nurse Aide is required.
• State certification as a Medication Aide is required.
• State approved medication administration certification.
• Familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the five rights of medication administration.
• Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
