Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking dedicated Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join our nursing team in New York. You will coordinate medication administration and support residents with daily living activities, promoting comfort and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include medication assistance, documenting shift activities, communicating needs to the Health Care Director, and ensuring privacy and respectful care. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) as required by state regulations.
• Experience assisting with medications and daily resident care is desirable.
• Ability to document and communicate effectively with healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with daily care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals
• Monitoring residents' physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as shift reports and resident records
• Communicating urgent needs to Health Care Director
• Managing tasks within the scheduled shift
