Job summary

Southland Health & Rehab seeks a Certified Medication Aide to administer physician-ordered medications and provide standard patient care under clinical guidelines. You will document all administrations and monitor for adverse reactions while communicating with families and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications as prescribed.
• Perform insulin, epinephrine, and B12 administration under physician direction.
• Conduct glucose testing according to guidelines.
• Document medication administration and reactions in resident records.
• Maintain proper storage and disposal of medications.
• Assist with routine patient care as directed by nursing staff.
