Responsibilities

• Administer physician ordered medications and documentation.

• Administer medications via metered dose inhaler.
• Conduct finger stick blood glucose testing as directed.
• Document medication administration and any declinations.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care as needed within role.

Report changes to the licensed nurse as needed.# SKILLS AND ABILITIES* Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.* Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills required* Effective and professional verbal, and written communication skills* Communicates well with other associates, patients, family members, and visitors providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude.
