Montezuma Health & Rehab in Montezuma, GA is hiring a Certified Medication Aide to administer physician-ordered meds and provide routine resident care. You will document all medication administration and ensure proper storage and disposal of drugs, while coordinating with nurses and caregivers.

The role requires a GA CMA and CNA credentials, HS diploma or equivalent, and comfort with electronic documentation and patient interactions in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal medications.
• Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 per physician direction.
• Administer medications via a metered dose inhaler.
• Conduct finger stick blood glucose testing per guidelines.
• Administer a commercially prepared disposable enema per physician order.
• Document medication administration/declination per guidelines.
• Report and document any unusual reactions in the resident's record.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine care such as bathing, grooming and dressing as needed.
• Perform dressing changes of skin alterations per orders.
