Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate.
• Successful completion of State of Iowa approved Medication Aide training.
• CPR certification.
• One year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor residents as prescribed.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and daily care tasks.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the care team.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents.
• Educate residents and families about medications and care plans.
