Expect a supportive multi-disciplinary team and a focus on resident care. The role requires state nurse aide certification and an approved medication administration certification, plus strong communication and observation skills.

Qualifikationen

• State certification as a nurse aide is required.
• State approved medication administration certification is required.
• Familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.

Aufgaben

• Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
