Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Georgia CNA and Medication Aide certifications required.
• Ability to administer medications per physician directions and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications by routes listed.
• Follow clinical guidelines for insulin, epinephrine, and B12.
• Document medication administration and any refusals.
• Perform finger-stick blood glucose tests.
• Store and dispose of medications properly.
• Provide routine patient care as needed.
• Report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate resident records.
