Heritage Inn – Statesboro is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for the night shift. The role administers physician-ordered medications to residents, conducts glucose testing, and documents all administrations and refusals in the resident record.

Strong communication and accurate record-keeping are required. Responsibilities include routine patient care, proper medication storage, and reporting any unusual reactions to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Aide in GA is required.
• Certified Medication Aide in GA is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered medications as directed.
• Document medication administration and any refusals.
• Perform blood glucose testing per guidelines.
• Provide routine patient care such as bathing and grooming.
• Store and dispose of medications properly and report changes.
