Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our long-term care team in Texas. You will accurately prepare, administer, and document medications while maintaining resident safety and proper MARs.

You will also monitor vital signs and report any concerns to nursing leadership. Requirements include Texas CMA certification, good standing on Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry, and ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas CMA certification.
• In good standing on Nurse Aide Registry & Misconduct Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out English instructions.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed.
• Take and record vital signs; report any errors to nurse leadership.
• Count and sign medication administration records for controlled drugs.
• Safely lift, move and transfer residents and use PPE as required.
• Utilize electronic medical records and participate in drills and trainings.
