Focused Post Acute Care Partners FPACP in Texas is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team. You will accurately administer medications and document care for residents, ensuring safety and compliance with care plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Certified Medication Aide Certification in Texas.
• Be in good standing on Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry.
• Must have current Certified Nurse Aide certification in Texas.
• Ability to understand, remember and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed.
• Immediately report any errors to the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
• Accurately take and record vital signs.
• Safely lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Observe residents and report unusual or abnormal conditions to nursing staff.
• Utilize electronic medical record charting and maintain clean, safe work areas.
