Job summary

United Methodist Communities seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Bristol Glen in Newton, NJ. Earn $23.00-$25.55/hr with shifts 6a-2p or 2p-11p, including weekend rotation.

Full-time and part-time roles available, with benefits and a robust supportive environment. The CMA will administer medications, monitor resident health, and maintain accurate medication records, ensuring safety and compliance in our assisted living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification is required.
• Current, active New Jersey CMA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely, following state regulations and community policy.
• Watch for changes in resident health and report concerns to the nursing team right away.
• Keep accurate medication records for resident care and compliance.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Receive, organize, and store pharmacy deliveries and medication supplies.
• Take vitals, check blood glucose, and support other wellness tasks as directed.
• Help residents feel comfortable, independent, and at home.

Education
