Job summary

The Legacy Senior Communities in Plano, TX is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to provide medication administration assistance and resident care in a skilled nursing setting. You will support daily living activities and collaborate with the health care team to ensure residents receive timely medications.

Requirements include a current CMA certificate in Texas, at least one year of experience, and an active CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current CMA certificate in Texas is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records resident’s vital signs and weight.
• Administers and documents medications per physicians’ orders (oral, topical, suppository, eye/ear drops).
• Coordinates with pharmacy providers to ensure residents have medications.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Responds to resident calls for assistance.
• Supports dining, activities, and light housekeeping as needed.

Education

Current CMA certificate in Texas

Minimum of 1 year of experience
