Qualifications

• Completion of state approved Nursing Assistant Program.
• Current CNA certification and listing on state Registry.
• Completion of a standardized Medication Administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with direct routine care per Plan of Care.
• Record vital signs and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with nutrition, transfers, mobility and safety.
• Assist nurses with procedures and documentation.
• Promote residents' rights and dignity; interact with families and team.
