Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications per facility policies and state laws.
• Observe for adverse reactions and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Document medication administration accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal of medications.
• Support licensed nurses and assist with daily living activities.
• Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in shift hand-offs and ongoing education.
