Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Medication Aide in Council Bluffs, Iowa. In this role, you'll be responsible for administering medications and providing essential care to the residents. You'll support the nursing department and collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure residents' well-being.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a long-term care environment and maintain all required certifications, along with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Current certification as a Medication Aide or Assistant per state regulations.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications to residents.
• Provide personal hygiene and meal services.
• Collaborate and assist in nursing department support.

Skills

Experience in long-term care

Organizational and time management skills

Ability to work as a team

Basic knowledge of computer software

Education

Current Medication Aide certification
