Job Summary:

Certified to administer medications under supervision, following state and federal laws, to residents in our facilities. Provide direct care to enhance residents' quality of life, supporting families and visitors, while maintaining professional behavior as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Supervision & Critical Functions:

• Administer prescribed medications, maintain medical records, verify resident identity, and observe responses to medications.
• Provide direct care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with treatments.
• Manage medication supplies, restock inventories, and document medication administration.
• Support co-workers and report incidents promptly.
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers with proper documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or minimum age 18.
• Completion of Certified Medication Technician or Med Level One course and certification.
• Effective communication skills, confidentiality adherence, and ability to work under supervision.
• Ability to recognize and respond to resident needs, maintain safety, and demonstrate professionalism.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work independently or with peers on 8-hour shifts.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license if driving is required.
