Accura HealthCare of Toledo in Iowa is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. CMAs provide person-centered care through medication administration and personal care as delegated by the nurse, with flexible scheduling and two shifts available.

The role involves administering medications, assessing information, and coordinating treatments within facility policies and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold CMA certification with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific certification (includes current CNA certification).
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Wages up to $21.33/hour depending on experience

JOB SUMMARY:

Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) are responsible for administering medications, assessing information, and performing treatments in coordination with the resident’s care plan, the facility’s policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations.
