Care Initiatives is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support residents in one of our Iowa skilled nursing communities. The role includes assisting with daily living activities and administering medications, while providing companionship and monitoring health needs.

Ideal candidates hold an Iowa CNA certification and a current Medication Aide credential, with a patient-centered approach and teamwork mindset. Evening shifts available and a competitive wage with benefits offered.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Provide health monitoringand conducting routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocolsto ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
• Valid certification as a Medication Aide. Medication Aide must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.

• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
