Care Initiatives is hiring Certified Medication Aides (CMA) to join our compassionate teams across Iowa's skilled nursing communities. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage with shift differentials and opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health, administer medications as assigned, provide companionship, and collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, respectful setting.

Qualificações

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa or ability to activate.
• Valid Medication Aide certification in Iowa or ability to activate.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Assist daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating) and passing medications.
• Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor health and perform routine vital checks.
• Interact with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Encourage resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Provide health monitoringand conducting routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocolsto ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.

• Valid certification as a Medication Aide. Medication Aide must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate.

• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
