Job summary

The Legacy at North Augusta is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to support residents' health and daily care needs. This PRN role involves safe medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

Candidates must have a CMT certification in good standing, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of CMT experience.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

  • Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
  • Document all medication administration and report any changes in resident condition
  • Work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or delegating nurse.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Complete and renew required Maryland Board of Nursing certification
  • Follow all state regulations and facility policies regarding medication administration
  • Report and document any incidents or medication errors promptly
