Qualifications

• Current Certified Medication Aide/technician certification in good standing.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration technique.
• Ability to recognize complications and adverse effects from medication.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents medication and treatment as directed.
• Observes, records, and reports symptoms and conditions related to medication interaction, adverse drug reactions, or a side effects of the medication.
• Stores medications in a safe and accurate manner while keeping medication areas clean and orderly.
• Monitors medications to ensure they are refilled as required by policies.
• Obtains vital signs and weights on residents as assigned and directed.
• Performs CNA duties when required.

Job Summary:
