Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Norman, Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration for residents and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and safety.

As a CMA, you will document tasks, communicate needs to the Health Care Director, and support the care team in daily rounds. We offer benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for growth in a community with a long-standing reputation for quality care.

Qualifications

• Certified to pass medications per state regulations (CMA) is required.
• Must be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
• Experience coordinating medication administration and assisting residents with daily living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals
• Monitoring residents’ physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records
• Communicating clearly with other staff and Health Care Director about urgent needs and concerns
• Managing assigned tasks within the scheduled shift

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities--

Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.

• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
