Job summary

Hearthstone Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Medford, OR is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications to residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, documenting medication administration, tracking effectiveness, and reporting any side effects or concerns with compassionate care.

Candidates must be a CNA with a state-approved MA-C program and CMA certification in Oregon; must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and CMA-certified in OR.
• Completed state-approved MA-C program with classroom and hands-on training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you’ll be responsible for administering medications to residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. You’ll document medication administration, track effectiveness, and report any side effects or concerns—all while ensuring a compassionate, physical, and emotional environment for the residents.

Qualifications:

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and have successfully completed a state-approved Medication Aide Certification (MA-C) program, including classroom and hands‑on training.

• Must hold a CMA (Medication Aide) certification in the practicing state (OR)

Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to work 1-2 shifts per week, 2 weekend shifts per month (Required)

Ability to work well in a team, providing compassionate care to residents.
